As a reminder there will be 17 OTAP positions available and 52 PICO positions available. The cut off line for bidding is 243. Also remember there are NO Guarantees for staff who get a OTAP position!
If you are successful in the bid process, you wont be moved into the OTAP/PICO position until inmate reductions occur, you will remain in your original spot.
As permanent positions become available, the most senior OTAP officer will be offered a full time position. And the most senior PICO officer will be offered the OTAP position that becomes available.
Eligible staff who are not successful in the OTAP bid process, will get another chance in the third wave, this is were you get an opportunity to bid Statewide!

ReplyDeleteI see a lawsuit, they change the number of impacted staff after they did the voluntary transfer process, wow time to call a lawyer.
ReplyDeleteThe have not fixed numerous seniority scores! They don't care either! If and when the statewide bid happens, they better fix the scores before then!!! Every month matters! Watch your back and load your gun! Just to keep my parteners and their families in mind, be more careful out driving, watch your kids more, lock everything! With crime about to rise we should prepare and be more cautious.

ReplyDeleteBull, I believe that your article may be a bit wrong. A PFT position must be offered to a person on the SROA list before it is offered to a person employed in the PICO POSITION. So if you demote yourself to PICO it could be years before you see full time status.
