California does not have an income problem, it has a spending problem! The state of California is a perfect example of what happens when liberal democrats control a state. Now I understand that the economy as a whole is bad, and that the state is in even worse shape, but lets look at why we are in such bad shape. Liberals(AKA Progressives)have spent billions of our tax dollars to "save" a plant or a kangaroo rat, and we all know how much they love inmates.... look at how much the state spends on them. and how about all of our hard earned money that they spend on ILLEGALS! (I know liberals hate that word, they say "undocumented workers") How much are we spending on the Dream Act?? Which if some of you do not know stands for "Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors" WTF! so we are paying for ILLEGALS to go to college? How about you cut the dream act Jerry, before you cut state WORKERS again! ReplyDeleteI'm starting to wonder if money is our biggest issue. Listening to some of these posts, I feel we are the biggest problem. I started this department before the text message and email, and we did not have the problems we do today. If you don't like an individual at work, you don't have to speak to this individual, but respect the uniform he or she wears. I am ashamed that other Law Enforcement Agencies are possibly looking at this site. Do we even pass on pertinent information to our partners anymore, or are we using the no overtime cop out? I hear words like we need to stand united as one. How is this possible when we can't get along amongst ourselves? I don't mean to preach, but I can honestly say I miss the old department, and when I say this I’m not talking about a pay check. I'm speaking of the comradery, and caring about your partner as if he or she were family. Cuts and hard times are bringing out the worst in this department, and we have let it take the only thing that was never compromised...Comradery.

Not that I'm a big Bible thumper but I have started to think that it appears to be more like Idle worship of the money and benefits then doing the right thing . Not that my judgement has'nt been clouded by the same thing . Someone told me that money is not the root of all evil but the ( love of money is at it's core ) . Something to think about.
