  2. Is it true Orange County Parole agents can bump C/Os not in their County. Since there is no prison in the O.C.? So much for bumping by county now. Anybody know the cut off number for staffing levels at CIM now... 675,725,?

  4. Word is that parole agents with no prior custody experience will be allowed to go to a transitional academy and pretty much bump staff

  6. I spoke to someone today and he mentioned he was going through backgrounds right now for CDCR. His background investigator told him that there will be NO academy's running this year, but more than likely next year.

  10. Well the ship is sinking slow enough for any of us that have less than 6 years in the dept to make our moves and transition to other law enforcement agencies. I'm just tired of explaining that to my fellow CO's who blindly hold on course, thinking this agency will not let them down. Good luck folks. I start the LASD academy in Aug.

  11. 7:05 AM: Yes indeed, couldn't have said it better myself. Good luck with that.

2:56 AM: Remember in the first wave how their was a bid for people who wanted to try to get PICO/OTAP spot? They're not going to do that anymore.
