Wave 2 yet another deadline missed
As many of you know the Wave 2 deadline for notification of State Wide Bid has come and gone. I was hoping to participate in the SWB, as I checked the CDCr Website, it appears they missed this deadline.
The results for the SWB were suppose to come out on July 6, 2012. What does it all mean? Is this whole process gonna be moved back past the July 23 date for Standardization? Time will tell!

They are to be mailed today should receive by Mon or Tues.
ReplyDeleteIt says that they will be mailed out on July 6th.... I would think being mailed from Sacramento they should arrive by Monday July 9th. The report date is July 23rd, so if you are notified on July 9th that would be the required 2 weeks before reporting to your new institution. Right?

ReplyDeleteSeriously? They couldn't handle getting this done on time? It's not like it's a difficult task, it's a matter of seniority and organization. They can't get their shit in order over a month but they want us to get our entire houses moved in less than 2 weeks? Blowhards.
ReplyDeleteThis is typical of the bumbling, imbecile, leadership of the department. When I say "leadership", I am referring to "management". The top guy's are'nt even the least bit embarrassed by this, or ALL the other disaster, simple program changes they assign their peanut sized brain subordinates to accomplish.
ReplyDeleteCan they even legally hOld people to the July 23 report date if they don't have the bid award info available today? I just called and they said they're sending it to the institutions today, but they haven't yet. Problem with that is that personnel closes at 2pm, and it's 1pm now. So where does that leave us?

@Bull. I found out from a fellow Officer who finally got a hold of personnel assignments. We all have been calling them all day, no answer.... How sad is this place, I had to find out life changing news from another officer.....

ReplyDeleteChino is the greatest prison ever. What other joint can you just roll up and start kicking back from day one . kiss a little ass and rub elbows, and get that kush management job. I have never cell fed or humped a tier. I got 2/W with partial weekends and have never been attached to the watch. I got a management job even while on apprenticeship, don't know how that happened but I'm not complaining. Someday I hope to transfer to CIW, I hear that is the most laid back prison to work at. I'm glad for the C/O's leaving making room for me to stay at CIM. Have fun at those so-called better prisons...LOL
